The Fire Works Glass Studio
The Fire Works Glass Studio specializes in flamework or lampwork, a technique used to create beads, small vessels, ornaments and marbles. Glass rods are heated and formed over a torch mounted on a workbench. The Fyrsmith, Don E. Parker, has over 30 years of experience working in this medium. His daughter, Zora, has been working in the studio as an apprentice with him for about 9 years.

The ornament shown at the left is an example of the FireWorks "stock in trade". I have been making and selling ornaments for many years. They are available through our etsy.com listings and bazaars in Kodiak. Each one is individually made by hand, some are similar, but everyone is an individual.
