Why We're Alaskan:
Established in 1965, operated by 3 generations of the family, we host visitors to Glacier Bay National Park on our homestead. Our huge kitchen garden, wild edibles and local seafood are featured in our dining room. We employ many locals and family.
Keywords:
Glacier Bay, Gustavus, nature tours, homestead, bed and breakfast, icy strait, charter fishing, kayak, seafood, garden, bike, local harvest, sustainable table, glacier bay boat tour, whales, seals, puffin, orca, whalewatching, humpback, salmon, halibut
Additional Notes:
We have maintained a large garden for our guests since opening in 1965. Produce is picked and served within hours. We harvest bull kelp for pickles, spruce tips for syrup, and wild strawberries for jam. Our raspberries, currants and blueberries-great!
