Established in 1980 Alaska Health Fair, Inc. has been offering free health screening, health education and low cost blood tests to Alaskans statewide.Screenings include: Blood pressure, height and weight/BMI, Vision, and hearing and more. The low cost blood tests include: Chemistry/Hematology $45(this test panels 27 different things including cholesterol, glucose, heart, liver and kidney fuctions to name a few. Also offered is the TSH-thyroid blood test $30, PSA-prostate blood test$25,Vitamin D blood test $50 and A1C blood test $25. Alaska Health Fair,Inc.travels statewide. Health Fairs are held in schools, community centers, shopping centers, churches, cultural centers, anywhere local residents determine are the best sites to offer the most screenings.
