Talkeetna Roadhouse
Bakery, Breakfast & Rooms on Main Street in "beautiful Downtown Talkeetna" Famous for hearty breakfasts, fresh baked goods and genuine frontier hospitality. The bakery features hand rolled bagels, an assortment of cinnamon rolls, cookies, cakes, pies and bars all made in house. Breakfasts come in two sizes, Full and Half, and feature Biscuits & Gravy, Sourdough Hotcakes and the Standard (scrambled eggs, homefried potatoes, thick peppered bacon and a generous slice of our homemade bread, toasted on the griddle). Hearty soups and reindeer chili, all served with fresh bread. Our Not Breakfast menu is full of comfort foods such as lasagna, Mac-n-Cheese, and an assortment of classic and specialty pasties. Roadhouse accommodations range from private rooms, bunk spaces and rustic cabins. The bathrooms may be "down the hall" in typical Roadhouse fashion, but we have managed to provide WiFi throughout the building. The sitting areas feature a piano and mountains of great books and magazines to keep one occupied an entire Alaskan winter. Coin-op laundry and showers available to the public. Open Year round.

Why We're Alaskan:
Since the 40's the Roadhouse has provided local and visiting patrons hearty meals and warm beds. We remain open during the non-profitable winter months to provide year round jobs, support our local distributors and community.
